HCS02 - Home Automation Computer Small |
HCS02 is a small self-contained computer with necessary I/O to control home mains appliances.
HCS02 scans up to 64 SPST keys in a matrix and can drive up to 32 monostable or 16 bi-stable electromechanic or solid-state relays to control mains appliances.
HCS02 provides a serial asynchronous RS-232 interface to communicate with other computers and to load software and configuration from.
HCS02's processor is a Intel 8052-AH-BASIC, a member of the 8051-Family. The 8052-AH-BASIC is a 8K-ROM-Variant with a BASIC-Interpreter in ROM. HCS02 enhances the BASIC with assembly code modules for key matrix scanning and relay pulse controlling.
