About the DVtool project

DVtool (and most of my other programs) are freeware/donationware. However, I have put many hours of work into the program and the website traffic also costs money and caused download problems. That is why I asked people to donate money.
I am still a student and I often have to suspend the development in favour of commercial projects to make a living. Also I cannot support DVtool like a commercial product (I am a one man team on this). As my time is very limited I will limit technical support to registered users.
If you have bought an older version of DVtool on a CD-ROM please note that the author did not receive any money for it! Consider that DVtool has features and speed that not even commercial software has and try out an older version before registering. The current version will always be way ahead in development and offer much more features.

Why should I register?

In return for your donation you will become registered as a VIP customer with following benefits:

I decided against a crippled shareware version of DVtool, it will instead be donationware. However, mirroring the latest version on the Internet is not allowed. If you decide not to register you can still use an older version for free.

How do I become a VIP customer?

If you want to become a VIP customer, i.e. REGISTER, you are asked to donate money for the DVtool project.
How much you want to donate is completely up to you (although minimum is $10 / €10 as some "wise guy" tried to trick me). You decide how much it is worth to you based on how often you use it and how useful it is to you.

My address is:

Thank you very much for you support,

P.S.: I am a DVD collector too, so maybe you could also offer a DVD or you would like to swap. Get in touch with me then.
