Until we get a proper packaging, you must download FFmpeg, for example from:

https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com

You must download the ffmpeg 64bit shared version (version 3.2.2 or newer)

* Unzip the ffmpeg file
* copy the content of the bin folder (*.dll and *.exe files) into this folder (where kdenlive.exe is located)
* copy the presets folder into this folder (where kdenlive.exe is located)
* Start Kdenlive, you're ready to edit!
