New Projects and Guides published in January - The RNT Monthly Recap.

Hi! I hope you’re doing well.

As usual, I’m sending you a compilation with the projects/tutorials published on the Random Nerd Tutorials blog throughout the previous month of January. Enjoy.

NEW PROJECTS & GUIDES

- ESP32 with MPU-6050 Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Temperature Sensor (Arduino): getting started guide for the MPU-6050 accelerometer, gyroscope and temperature sensor with the ESP32. Learn how to get readings and display them on an OLED display.

- ESP8266 NodeMCU with MPU-6050 Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Temperature Sensor (Arduino): similar with the previous tutorial but for the ESP8266 NodeMCU board.

- ESP32 Web Server with MPU-6050 Accelerometer and Gyroscope (3D object representation): build a web server with the ESP32 to display readings from the MPU-6050 accelerometer and gyroscope sensor. Create a 3D representation of the sensor orientation on the web browser using THREE.js JavaScript library.

- Upload Code to ESP32-CAM AI-Thinker using ESP32-CAM-MB USB Programmer (easiest way): using the ESP32-CAM-MB programmer is the easiest way to program the ESP32-CAM board. If you usually have issues programming the ESP32-CAM, this article is for you.

- Get Epoch/Unix Time with the ESP32 (Arduino): quick tutorial showing how to get epoch/unix time with the ESP32. The epoch time can be useful to timestamp your readings, give unique names to files, and other applications.

- Get Epoch/Unix Time with the ESP8266 NodeMCU (Arduino): similar to the previous tutorial, but using the ESP8266 board.

Order Your PCB Prototypes - PCBWay

PCBWay is a full feature Printed Circuit Board manufacturing service. Turn your DIY breadboard circuits into professional PCBs - get 10 boards for approximately $5.

We hope you find these tutorials useful. We have awesome tutorials prepared for this month. So, stay tuned.

Regards,
Rui Santos
