If you keep the key depressed while moving nodes, the nodes will be copied and positioned correspondingly (in net and tree diagrams only). You can pop up the "Edit Settings" dialog via the key combination ++. You can select a subtree in a tree diagram by pressing the key while marking the subtree by mouse. The amount of data to be loaded on opening a project can be reduced by selecting a filter. In the "Edit Node Annotations" dialog you can add fields by dragging the mouse, right (!) mouse button depressed, towards a margin of the preview. You can get to the "Specify Time Scale" dialog by double-clicking on the time scale in the Gantt diagram. Beside by mouse, you can scroll diagrams by keeping the key depressed while simultaneously using the , , or key. Double-clicking on an item in the "Node design" column of the "Specify Node Appearance" dialog will get you to the corresponding "Edit Node Design" dialog. Double-clicking on an activity will pop up the "Edit Data" dialog. To scroll to a defined activity, select it in the table section and click on the "Zoom to Marking" menu item in the "View" menu or in the task bar. To optimize the layout of tree diagrams the "Edit Tree Layout" dialog offers various parameters. Diagrams generated by GRANEDA Dynamic can be exported to *.bmp, *.eps, *.gif, *.jpg, *.pcx, *.png, *.tif, *.wmf and *.vmf formats. Column widths of the table section can be modified interactively in the head line. You can select a section in the network diagram by marking it via the mouse while pressing the key. A double-click on the head lines of a Gantt diagram will get you to the "Specify Table" dialog. To quickly find and mark a node by its identification invoke the corresponding dialog via the + keys. In the "Edit Settings" dialog (via the "Options" menu) you can set the background color and the frame of the diagram. When you open a project you can infinitely combine project data and graphics specification as long as they refer to the same interface template. A double-click on an item of the "Layer design" column in the "Specify Bar Appearance" dialog will get you to the corresponding "Edit Layer" dialog. You can easily set up an Open Data Base Connection of your data base to GRANEDA Dynamic 3.0 via the ODBC wizard. If you have been using the GRANEDA Dynamic 2.1 version you can upgrade your diagrams to version 3.0. For this, please select the menu item "Upgrade from Version 2.1" of the "Options" menu. In the "Header and Footer" dialog (via the "Layout" menu) you can add a title and a legend to your diagrams. In Gantt charts the "Header and Footer" appear in the print preview and the printed output only. You can sort activities in Gantt diagrams. Please set the appropriate parameters in the "Edit Sorting" dialog (via the "Layout" menu). You can group activities in Gantt and network diagrams. Please set the appropriate parameters in the "Edit Grouping" dialog (via the "Layout" menu). You can assign time oriented positions to activities in network diagrams. For this, set the appropriate parameters in the "Edit Time Orientation" dialog (via the "Layout" menu). Activities that fulfil a certain filter criterion you can mark by using the "Mark by Filter" dialog (via the "Edit" menu). Activities, that do not fulfil a certain filter criterion, you can mark by using the "Mark by Filter" dialog (via the "Edit" menu) and then use the menu item "Invert Marking" ("Edit" menu). A node appearance in a net or tree diagram you can define by combining various highlights, that you select in the "Specify Node Appearance" dialog (via the "Options" menu). In the dialogs for the administration of specification components you can add a specification component to a graphics specification via the "Add..." button (depends on type of licence). In the dialogs for the administration of specification components you can copy a specification component in the graphics specification via the "Copy..." button (depends on type of licence). In the dialogs for the administration of specification components via the "Edit..." button you can get to the corresponding "Edit..." dialog. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components you can remove a specification component from the graphics specification via the "Delete..." button. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components the specification components visible in the preview will appear marked in the "Preview" column. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components the specification component just added or modified will appear marked in the "Status" column. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components the "Storage" column indicates, whether a specification component corresponds to a specification component of your interface template or whether it is defined locally in the graphics specification. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components in the table displayed different functions are available to the cells. Click once, twice or double-click on the cells to try the different functions. In the dialogs for the administration of specification components local information that does not belong to a specification component is marked by a blue background of the table column. If you own a "Professional" license, you can set default values to local information via the dialog "Administrate IFT Elements" (via the "Options" menu) and then by the dialogs following (only if no graphics specification was opened.) The date format entered via the date control you can select in the dialog "Edit Settings" (via the "Options" menu). A date can be entered into the date control in three different ways: by clicking on the arrow and then selecting a date, by entering figures directly via the keyboard or by the , , or keys. In a Gantt diagram the "Edit Layer" dialog lets you opt whether the start/end dates can be modified and whether the layer can be moved as a whole. After marking nodes in a network or tree diagram, the preview of the "Specify Node Appearance" dialog lets you flip through the marked nodes and recognize the highlights applying. After marking activities in Gantt diagrams, the preview of the "Specify Bar Appearance" dialog lets you flip through the marked activities and recognize the layers that the corresponding activity is represented by. The scale (Width per Unit) of a time scale section in a Gantt diagram can be modified interactively in the time scale section. The start date of another time scale section in a Gantt diagram can be modified interactively in the time scale section. When opening a graphics specification the specification components differing from the interface template will be offered to you for updating by the "Actualizing specification components" dialog. In the table section of a Gantt diagram a group can be collapsed and expanded by a double-click on the group title. If you own a "Professional" license, you can handle specification components of an interface template also via the "Administrate IFT Elements" (via the "Options" menu) (only if no graphics specification was opened.) After selecting the creation mode in a tree diagram you can recognize by the shape of the cursor what kind of node will be generated and on which side of the node it is going to be inserted. In the legend of a Gantt diagram you can assemble several layers into a legend group to assign a common legend text to them. For this, please use the "Specify Bar Appearance" dialog (via the "Options" menu). In the "Specify Time Scale" dialog please activate the "Auto" check box(es) to automatically adapt the start and/or end of the time scale to the project data that exist when a graphics specification is activated or loaded. Specification components, that are continuously used by the program, such as the time scale in a Gantt diagram, are automatically generated if they do not exist in the graphics specification. You can mark all activities of your diagram by +. If you wish a date line to occur in a Gantt diagram at the current date, please set the date of the date line to "Today (dynamic)" in the "Specify Date Lines" dialog (via the "Options" menu).
