Readme file for ISpy version 1.32 ================================= Contents -------- 1 - Installation 2 - What's new 3 - Upgrades and support 1 - Installation ---------------- a. Floppy disk installation Insert the diskette in your 3.5" diskette station. Press the ‘Start’ button, choose menu option ‘Run’, type ‘a:\setup’, and press the OK button. This will start the ISpy installation program. b. Internet installation Run the executable, named ISpyxxxz.exe (where xxx is the version number, eg 132 for version 1.32, and z is the release (r)/demo (d) indication). This will start the ISpy installation program. If you have a previous version of ISpy installed, just reinstall the software and choose the same target directory as your previous installation. All your settings will be remembered. If you have a registered version of ISpy version 1.20 or newer, you can just download the new demo version and install that. Your software will stay registered. If you want ISpy to be started automatically every time you boot your machine, add a Folder called 'StartUp' in your 'Programs' group (under the 'Start' button), and put a shortcut to ISpy in it. If you email the URL of your site with an ISpy-generated image to info@ispy.nl, you will be added to the ISpy Gallery! 2 - What's new -------------- New features in this version: - Support for framegrabbers that can't capture uncompressed video New features in version 1.31: - Support for both OPIE (md5) and S/Key (md4) ftp login - Better support for some 16-bit frame grabbers - Day of week selection for scheduling uploads only on certain days New features in version 1.30: - Support for caption file upload (instead of writing on the image) - ISpy now has an ActiveX interface for external control (see Appendix D of the manual) - ISpy no longer uses the clipboard to capture images! - If no caption text and no advertisement is used, ISpy now works correctly with the Connectix B&W Quickcam Bugfixes in 1.32: - Pink discoloration on some 16-bit video formats solved Bugfixes in 1.31 since 1.30: - Max fps settings are correctly remembered - Error codes from jpeglib are better handled - Fixed minor scheduling quirk 3 - Upgrades and support ------------------------ Please visit our web pages at http://www.ispy.nl/ to see the latest support information, and check out the latest version.
