To remove the Iomega Tools software, use the following steps:

  3. Highlight Iomega Tools for Windows 95/NT and click on Add/Remove.
  4. Restart your computer.

If you are using Windows 3.1x...

If you used install.exe to install the Iomega Tools software, use the DOS section. If you used setup.exe to install the Iomega Tools software, use the Windows section.

  1. Open the startup group and highlight the Tools Startup and Eject icons. Next, press the <Delete> key to remove the icons form the Startup group.
  2. Delete the Zip Tools group by highlighting it, and then press the <Delete> key.
  3. Exit completely out of Windows and at the C:\ prompt and type Deltree ziptools_31 followed by the <Enter> key.
  4. From the C:\ prompt type Edit autoexec.bat followed by the <Enter> key.
  5. Remove the line C:\Ziptools_31\Guest.exe.
  6. Select File then Exit and save the changes when prompted.
  7. Restart your computer.

Note: If you used the DOS install instead of the Windows setup to install Iomega Tools, you will need to remove the Iomega directory instead of the Ziptools_31 directory.
